The 2011 Cardinals are the fifth team in 16 seasons under manager Tony La Russa and pitching coach Dave Duncan to have five pitchers achieve double-digit win totals with St. Louis.
In the last 50 years, eight Cardinals teams overall have had five pitchers with win totals in double figures.
The five pitchers who began the 2011 season in the starting rotation all have 10 wins or more:

McClellan is 6-6 as a starter and 6-0 as a reliever. (Updated Sept. 24: McClellan is 12-7 overall, 6-1 as a reliever). Edwin Jackson, who replaced McClellan in the rotation after being acquired in the trade for outfielder Colby Rasmus, is 12-9, but 5-2 as a Cardinal. He went 7-7 with the White Sox.
This is the first time in six years the Cardinals have five pitchers with double-digit wins. The other four teams to do it since La Russa became manager and Duncan the pitching coach all reached the post-season. Those five are:
